Reminders from restaurants and the Telegram group

Delivery notes, crates, "add a cylinder to the next delivery" — the list is open to both sides. Why unfinished small things are what most often cost a supplier a customer.

What this list is

Menu → "Reminders". Restaurants write down here what they have asked you for: "bring the delivery notes for 22.07", "collect the crates", "add a cylinder to the next delivery".

The point is that requests like these shouldn't live in a manager's head and in a three-month-old message thread. The list is open: the kitchen sees what it asked for, you see what is outstanding.

How to close items

Done it — tap the tick, and the item disappears for the restaurant too. Either side can close it: you or the kitchen. As soon as somebody ticks it, the item disappears for both.

If you have a Telegram group connected with that restaurant, the same list hangs there as a pinned message, and an item can be ticked off right there without opening the app.

Why this is in your interest

Unfinished small things are the main reason a kitchen changes supplier when everything else is equal. Not price and not quality, but "we told them three times about the delivery notes". An open list removes half of those stories: what was asked is visible, and so is what has been done.

What's next

On the Telegram group and confirming orders with a button, see the article about the bot (it is written for the kitchen, but the mechanics are the same). On orders themselves, see here.

Try it in your own restaurant

The app is free: orders, receiving, suppliers and price lists. Sign up with a phone number; it installs on a phone like any other app.
